The 43rd District Court

The MADD website can help you by providing information on how to handle the legal, medical, and financial issues you may face in the coming weeks and months if you, or someone you love, has been the victim of a drunk driver. You can also enter their discussion forums and meet other people who have been similarly affected by drunk driving or underage drinking.

The 43rd District Court hosts:

Victim Impact Panel – Oakland County

One of MADD's most widely recognized programs, Victim Impact Panels, gives victims of drunk driving crashes an opportunity to share their story with first- and second-time DUI offenders. As part of their probation, first- and second-time DUI offenders are mandated in many jurisdictions to hear the poignant stories of those whose lives have been permanently affected by an impaired driver.

Attendees DO NOT need to call the facility or register with the MADD office.
A receipt given at the panel will be proof of attendance.

All panels begin at 7:00 pm, please arrive by 6:45 to register. All panels require a $30.00 fee.

Method of payment: Cash, Money Order, Cashier’s Check ~ No personal checks will be accepted.

The Victim Impact Panel meets on the first Tuesday of every month.
